2011 Big Lake Youth Football Travel League
Entering grades 7th & 8th
The Big Lake Youth Football Association (BLYFA) is offering a travel league for
students entering grades 7th and 8th! This exciting program will be associated
with the Twin Cities North Suburban Conference and will run from Aug - Nov.
This league runs a 10-12 game schedule plus a chance for playoffs.
BLYFA will provide helmets, shoulder pads, and mouth guards.
Parents are responsible for providing an athletic supporter w/cup and
cleated shoes.
Cost for 8th grade - $150.00 plus uniforms
Cost for 7th grade - $150.00 plus uniforms

2011 Big Lake Traveling Youth Football
Entering Grades 4 - 6
The BLYFA is offering a fall league of competitive tackle football for students
entering grades 4 - 6 through the Three Rivers Football League. The program
stresses the ongoing development of solid football skills in a competitive
environment. Grades 4th & 5th are grouped together and play in the "Junior
Varsity" league. Grade 6 compete in the "Varsity" league. Player evaluations
will be in late July and practice will begin in August thru October. Practices
will be decided by the coaches with games being held usually on Tuesday
evenings and Saturday mornings. Games will be played against similar teams
from Becker, Cambridge, Milaca, Monticello, Princeton, and Zimmerman.
BLYFA will supply helmets, shoulder pads, mouth guards.
Parents are responsible for providing an athletic supporter w/cup and
molded cleated shoes not detachable cleats.

2011 Big Lake Intro Youth Football
Entering grades 2 - 3
The Big Lake Youth Football Association (BLYFA) is offering a 9-man tackle football
program for students entering grades 2 - 3. This is an in-house full contact program.
This program will organize participants into teams to teach basic football rules
and skills in an environment that includes both practice sessions and organized
scrimmages. It's a great way to introduce children to football and build good
fundamentals in the sport. This program will begin the week of Aug 9th and end
with the Mini Bowl on Oct 9th.
BLYFA will supply helmets, shoulder pads & mouth guards.
Parents are responsible for providing an athletic supporter w/cup and
molded cleated shoes not detachable cleats.
